How do we form and update our beliefs?

This is the central question that guides my current work. Using behavior, social media data, and neuroimaging, I investigate how we form impressions of others, and how we update our beliefs about others as we continuously learn new information about them. In addition, I’m interested in how our emotions, motivations, and goals impact these processes. I also have an interest in studying social interactions and belief formation in digital spaces.

Below, you can find brief summaries of my past and present projects, as well as associated research output (papers and first-author conference presentations).
